Position Summary
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for being a bright partner and providing support to the Marketing Department as well as other duties as assigned from the President. The Marketing Coordinator is instrumental in executing all marketing strategies and tactics while incorporating the BankORION Bright Partner brand messaging through all media related platforms. This position requires excellent communication, multitasking and judgement skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Internal and external communications
- President’s correspondence
- Coordinates direct mailings
- Prepares content for website, eblasts, direct mail, social media and presentations
- Coordinates all BankORION & Orion Bancorporation events, meetings and promotions as well as employee relations activities
- Manages outside vendors or agencies for ordering and designing marketing related items or campaigns
- Provides analysis of social media, events, month end reports and campaigns
- Coordinates the donation process
- Coordinates database hygiene for direct mail or e-mail marketing campaigns
- Maintains a good overall company presence on BankORION’s digital assets
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge and ability of proper documentation.
- Be a well-informed organization representative in and out of the bank.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Nitro PDF.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Attention to details and deadlines.
- Assertive in problem solving.
- Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality including, but not limited to, customer data, financial data, marketing plans and policies.
- Ability to process and send mail.
Hours of Work
X FT ____ PT 40 # of hours per week:
Saturdays (# per month) Other: Events could be held after hours, must be able to attend as needed.
Working Conditions
In office work with exposure to some noise. Bending, stooping, and minimal lifting required up to 50lbs. Sitting, standing, and walking required. Outside event work possible. Must be able to adapt to different surroundings.

Education Required Associates Degree
Education Preferred Bachelors Degree
Experience Preferred 1-3 years related banking experience and 1-3 years related marketing experience
Experience Required Internship or college courses or banking experience
