Position Summary
The Operations Specialist is responsible for the daily completion of Deposit and Digital Operations processing, as scheduled. This includes: customer and team member support, mobile app and deposit support and troubleshooting skills, digital banking enrollments, Zelle support and fraud monitoring, exception and overdraft item processing, transaction research, account maintenance, and error resolution. The Operations Specialist will provide a consistently positive customer experience both internally and externally.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Deposit Operations:
ACH processing of overdrafts, returns, rejects, notifications of change, and reclamations
Overdraft processing of returns, charges, stop-payments, and WSUD's
Customer and team member support calls
Mobile Deposit review and processes
Digital Operations:
Digital Banking and bill pay enrollment
Commercial customer items such as: onboarding, ACH, positive pay setup, and sub-user assistance
Daily customer messages requirements: review, forward, respond and monitor
Daily reports monitoring
Zelle: monitor for fraud and suspended accounts
Customer support calls
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
Asset and Social Security verifications
Annual ACH audit assistance
Process legal documents such as garnishments, levies, and subpeonas
Assist with training newly hired employees
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Understanding of Apple and Google mobile applications in order to support customer issues and concerns
Skilled with computers; must be comfortable with: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Telephone and customer service skills
Above-average understanding of banking industry
Ability to research and resolve problems independently
Willing to use available resources and notes to resolve issues that may arise
Hours of Work
X FT ____ PT 40 # of hours per week:

Working Conditions
In office work with exposure to some noise. Bending, stooping, and minimal lifting required. Sitting, standing, and walking required. Use of desktop or laptop computer, mobile applications, browsers, biometrics, telephones, ten-key calculators, multi-function printer, scanner, copy machine, and dual monitors.
Background
Education Required High School Degree (or equivalent)
Education Preferred Associates Degree
Experience Required 2+ years of operations experience related to the position
Experience Preferred 3+ years banking operations experience related to the position
